HPS ( High Pressure Sodium ) Fixtures

Our new fixture design provides a number of substancial improvements to the P.L. Light Systems line of HPS lighting. The refined ventilated aluminum body enables the ballast to run cooler than ever before which adds increased dependability to the internal components. The compact extruded design greatly reduces the blockage of incoming natural sunlight. A new mounting collar adds support and durability to our reflectors while easing assembly and maintenance time. Our line of reflectors have enhanced and expanded to offer you the greatest range of product use. In addition to our Medium, Deep, Wide and Super wide reflectors we are proud to introduce the Midi and the 1000 watt reflectors. This full complement of reflectors allows us to offer you an expanded range of custom designed layouts. We invite you to complete attached request for a free lighting plan. We will advise you about the best combination of fixtures, reflector patterns and distance between lamp and crop to give you the best possible light intensity and uniformity for your unique environment.

HPS fixtures are available in 150 W, 250W, 400W, 430W, 600W and 1000W ratings.

Standard features on all HPS include:

• 400 watt model comes standard with the medium reflector for maximum light intensity and uniformity.
• 1000 watt model is equipped with a new specially designed 1000 watt reflector to product the maximum light intensity and uniformity.

Reflectors

P.L. Light Systems are leaders in the design of super efficient reflectors. Sound lighting depends strongly on the way light is distributed. P.L. Light Systems offers six reflectors each with a very high output. These include: deep reflecting types - the deep and the medium and wide reflecting types - the wide and the super wide. In addition to these we offer the midi which combines the good light qualities of the medium and the high output reflectors. Finally the latest addition to our family of reflectors the new 1000 watt reflector.

All reflectors are made out of one piece and their uniformity guaranteed. This provides superb light distribution and uniformity of the light over the crop. The reflectors are made of pure aluminum and have been high polished and anodized. The microscopic small facets at the surface provide a diffused light pattern and keeps the deposit of dirt down to a minimum. A new mounting collar has been developed which provides customers with enhanced durability and ease of maintenance.

Medium Reflector Designed for a more rectangular illumination field suitable mounting heights over 6 feet with a maximum distance of 21 feet between rows depending on light level required. Width 33.6 cm / 13.4 in Length 31.3 cm / 12.5 in

Midi Reflector specially designed for the modern greenhouse to allow you to work with one row per bay in 26 and 32 foot bays for suspension heights over 6 feet remarkable performance in 21 foot wide bays. Width 28.5 cm / 11.4 inches Length 30.0 cm / 12.0 cm

Deep Reflector Designed for square illumination field Deep penetration of light into the crop suitable for a height of 5 feet depending on the light level required. Width 23.1 cm / 9.2 inches Length 29.4 cm / 11.8 inches

Wide Reflector Designed for a more rectangular illumination field suitable for mounting heights between 4 and 5 feet depending on the light level required. may be equipped with one of two mirror diaphragms to optimize light distribution Width 42.2 cm / 16.9 inches Length 29.0 cm / 11.6 inches
