Starter House 24X144FS/DP/PCSS
This package provides the grower with a totally
enclosed structure. The roof is clad in double 6 mil poly
and the gable ends are provided with 8 mm twinwall
polycarbonate cladding. One 4' X 8' mandoor is provided
at one end. The dimensions are 24 feet wide X 144 feet
long. A detailed description is below.

Grower
Starter House 24X144FS/DP/PCSS
This package provides the grower with a totally
enclosed structure.
This
package includes a series FS freestanding structure that
is 24 feet wide X 144 feet long.
The series FS structure is provided with gothic shaped
reinforced arches and arch uprights placed at 6 feet on
center along the length of the structure. Our polysaver
ridge purlin system is included plus 4 runs of roof
purlins ( which are clamped on the inner cord of the arch
- away from the poly ). Each corner is provide with
windbracing. Foundation ground sleeves are provided for
each arch set. The end arches are provided with factory
installed wire lock. Aluminum base plates c/w built-in
wire lock is provided to secure the poly along the
sidewall. ( Our aluminum base plate is a structural
member - there is no need for a wooden base plate. )
Double poly roofing is provided which is 6 mil, 4 year,
UV stabilized. Both gable ends are provided with metal
framing members and 8 mm twinwall polycarbonate cladding.
One end is provided with a 4'X8' single door package
which is clad in twinwall polycarbonate. Door package
includes door frame, hinges, latches and door stop. Wire
lock is provided on the gable ends to secure the
poly.

slant wall fan c/w discharge shutters and intake screen (
each fan is rated for 20,000 CFM with 1 HP motor ), add

If you wish to add motorized shutters 3 - 42" X 42",
double panel, added $ 1030.00 Can/$710.00 US

note ....... about fan and shutter cooling. Fans are
sized to provide one air change per minute ( min ). So
the MIN.
air flow required is 144' X 24' X 10' =
34,560
CFM. The
total air flow posible with the above selction is
40,000 CFM. If you feel or do not need not need the
total air flow simply speed the fan down ( that's why
we prefer belt drive fans. ) When slowing down the fan
and if you have access to a amp meter you will also
see that the motors requires less amps ...... so less
power costs...... We just don't belive in skimping on
air flow rates. It only will cost you your crop
quality. See in the news for more on this. Also .....
another thing people overlook is the sound power
levels of a fan are exponentially related to fan blade
RPM. Because of these two very important reasons this
is why our selection is based on 48" fans.
Yes
..... you could use 42" fans ....... but they only be
a false ecomony.
