Carbon Dioxide Generation

In low light applications and at times when outside air venting is not possible the introduction of supplimental carbon dioxide within the greenhouse, provides substancial increases in plant productivity. To overcome carbon dioxide depletion carbon dioxide generation is a must.

  • Tree seedling production
  • Potted plant production

 

 

• Our GCS carbon dioxide generators are available in both natural gas and propane versions in four convenient sizes.
• They feature a double wall stainless steel body. These units will not rust or corrode even after years of harsh service. The double wall design distributes carbon dioxide and heat uniformly. As well the surface temperature of the appliance is reduced.
• Integral Pilot Generator and 750 mV Gas Valve. Power for the gas valve is internally generated by the power pile. Even in the event of a power failure these units will generate both carbon dioxide and heat.
• Shielded burner design. The burner and pilot assembly are shielded so that drafts and air movement will not effect operation.
• Burner Type. Impinged Jet type gas burner.
• Computer and Carbon Dioxide control compatible.

  Cubic foot rating based on 300 PPM outside atmosphere, 1200 PPM carbon dioxide generation within greenhouse and 1 AC per hour air infiltration. For propane derate by 10%.

  Input ratings based on 7" gas supply pressure. Units will operate to 50% of rated capacity at 3.5" gas supply pressure.
