GCS-5800EC Conductivity meter/controller

Model GCS5800EC is an industrial grade conductivity meter / controller manufactured by SIGNET. The photo above dipicts both an model CCS5800EC and 5700pH meters in panel enclosures. These are avialable as an add on to any injector system. We simply call them our "EC and pH in a box."

This conductivity controller is ideal for tracking the conductivity of your irrigation water.

Ideal for both pneumatic and electronic injector control.

All set-up and calibration functions are accessed by the front panel keyboard. Monitor includes both automatic and programmable temperature compensation to ensure accuracy. The wide range and ease of use allow you to configure to almost any process or application.

Questions and answers CCS5800EC

Question. This a a meter/control - what does that mean.

Answer: Generally on all of our flow control systems ( ie: injector stroking frequency is controlled by electronic flow controller ), we generally simply use the metering for indication only. In some cases where the grower wishes we can use one of the alarm relays to momentarily fail injector head on High EC or low pH and use the second alarm as that an alarm. For those that wish to use this meter controller as a proportional or mA pump controller, contact our office so that we can include the output modules for this type of control.

Control Suggestions:

If you irrigation water flow rates vary significantly --- we strongly suggest the use of flow control for injector opertion and simply use EC metering for indication only.

If your irrigation water flows are vary constant --- you can use EC meter/controller control.
