The x-tie option as illustrated below is basically our same structure with exception that our reinforced truss ( energy truss / crop support system ) is not provided. If low cost is a concern, for reduced cost, this maybe option for you. Two rows of purlin steel clamp to inner cord of arches are provided at 1/4 points along the length of the building.

Stronger yet - Trussed Option. As illustrated below the building is provided with our reinforced arch design, reinforced arches, polysaver ridge purlin system and two rows of roof purlin steel bolted onto the inner cord of arch. These two rows of purlin steel, located at 1/4 point on span hold the arches upright from racking and tie the whole roof as one complete assembly. The addtional rows of purlin steel magnify the strength of the roof system.
Standard Trussed Option ( Omni Standard - Snow belt design ). Illustrated below. Same as above up but more two additional rows of roof purlin steel are provided. All arches are securely tied together, maintaining each arch remain fully upright in heavy loading conditions. The result is an exceptionally strong structure both in wind load, snow load and crop/equipment snow load conditions.
Hard cladding Options - detail below illustrates additional sq. purlin steel provided so that hard cladding packages such as twinwall polycarbonate, single wall polycarbonate, metal cladding etc. be applied to the roof.
Sample Layout as illustrated below.
- Our columns are spaced at 12 feet on center.
- Minimum of two sets of windbrace diagonals are provide with each column row ( 48 to 96 feet ) and three sets thereafter.
- Reinforced energy Trusses are place at every 12 feet on center at all column location
- Reinforced arch sets are placed at every 6 foot along gutter. Even our gable end arches are of reinforced arch design. Why you ask ??? Say you wish to expand the length in the future ---- you can !!!!. Or say you wish the gable end to be open ---- you can.
- Every double poly house is provided with our polysaver ridge purlin system. Doesn't cut or chaff poly. Nice clean poly pulls with you drip pockets. And far far stronger than most other ridge purlin designs.
- Roof windbracing ---- Yes we provide wind bracing for every corner of our roof.
- Gable end windbracing ----- Yes we sure do include.
Reinforced arch design
As illustrated below our reinforced arch design provides the strongest arch system in the industry. Hm .... kind've looks like a metal floor joist... Hm .... metal floor joist are pretty strong aren't they. Then consider the gothic shape for even more strength. Nothing new for use ..... we've been doing this for many many many years.
The back bone of the structure. If you what both wind and crop/equipment load carrying strength .... reinforced trusses are the route to go.
Double Poly Sidewalls are most popular.
As illustrated below we provide a very complete, strong, long lasting double poly sidewall package. We even provide heavy 14 gauge galvanized steel corner flashing on the corners. Plus wire lock for the corners and gables. Even the stainless steel insert wire for the lock.
And ...... one row of 1 1/2" sq. purlin steel.
And ..... for the base our completely self supporting aluminum base plate system c/w built in wire lock c/w SS insert wire and intermediate ground sleeves.
But for those ..... just shopping for the lowest dollar, we can ( just like most others ) provide just wire lock for the sidewall ..... leaving you to supply the base.
This double poly vent system can be installed at the peak ( as illustrated ) or anywhere down the flat portion arches ( about 2/3 of span ) as required. Ideal in applications where grower wishes the low cost of double poly vents, but wishes the vent higher up on the roof than the gutter style vent.

Single and Double Ridge Vent Systems for Hard Clad or DP structures.
Double Poly Gutter Vent Systems
Inexpensive, easy to install, effective ventilation for double poly clad greenhouse structures. Gutter vents run the entire length of the gutter (s). Our vent system, since arched and secured to every reinforced arch provides the industries strongest gutter vent system.
Double Poly Sidewall Vent System
Very inexpensive way to ventilate double poly sidewalls. In cold climates works far far far better than the roll up sidewall systems. Why you ask ??? At least the cold air has a chance to warm up a bit before striking the crop. And for you bench growers it'll help solve your border dry out problems.
Polycarbonate Sidewall Vent Systems
Clad in 6 mm twinwall polycarbonate with aluminum frames our polycarbonate clad vent system provides a high quality long term vent system for the grower.

Would recommend restricting the use of double poly on ends with doors, fans, shutters and high traffic areas. ...... Just a suggestion ...... .
Longer lasting than the entire end in double or single poly. 8 MM twinwall polycarbonate is provided for the hoop space ( above line of gutter and up ), creating an easy to clad lower rectangular area ( gutter line and down to grade ) for double poly cladding.

Self Supporting Base Plate and Prefinished Gable End Arches
Nice little touches like these real speed up the construction phase. Once you use our base plates and prefinished arches and realize the features and qualities---- wood and wire lock/polylock for base / installing flashing ----
a thing of the past.
Complete door packages, Aluminum frame, galvanized horizontals provide for strength, latch plate and door latch, hinges, door framing and door stop. 8 mm twinwall polycarbonate cladding and aluminum edge trim. The whole ball of wax. Full sized sliding and parted sliding doors available on request.
