Omni Greenhouse Structures


Omni Growing Systems offers a complete line of hobby and cold frame structures and freestanding and gutter connected greehouse structures in poly or polycarbonate cladding. The photos below is just a sample of what they offer. These photos in many cases were also of projects that we supplied and installed for our clients.

The photo above depicts a small protion of a project. The structures are Omni 27'-6" wide by 240' long by 12' under the gutter, gutter connected greenhouse structures. There are nine bays on this project addition.The roof is in double 6 mil poly, with the center 24' spline of the roofs in 8 mm polycarbonate c/w double 4'X24' polycarbonate ridge vents. We built this project for our client in 1995 as a complete turnkey project. This included supply and installation of the structure, ventilation system, cooling system, high pressure fog cooling system, carbon dioxide generation systems, overhead watering booms, HAF systems, photo light systems, computer control systems and feritlizer injection systems. The heating systems included under the bench heat by hot water boilers and overhead gas fired unit heaters. We should note 2 years following this photo, we were back again, the grower expanded with an additional 2 bays.

The photo above depicts the structural elements of Omni Gutter Connected Structures. Clean, neat, easy to assemble and very strong in design.

The photo above depicts a Omni Polycarbonate Clad Gutter House. This project in used 21' wide gutter houses with 16 feet under the gutter. Two gutter houses / bays for this project. All cladding for roof, endwalls and sidewalls are in 8 mm polycarbonate. Ventilation and summer cooling is taken care of with double ridge vents for each bay. Our company built the greenhouse project for a corporate grower back in 1996. As you can see we were faced with winter construction. This project included supply and installtion of greenhouse structure, cooling systems, high pressure fog systems, photolights, computer environmental control, and injection. Since this photo the client has expanded their operations on two occasions.

The photo above is a typical reinforced arch used on both our freestanding and gutter connected greenhouses. The reinforced arch when assembled creates a very strong structural member when assembled. Our standard spacings are 6 foot on center. The arches come completely factory assembled in two halves, which are connected at the middle with an arch/ridge bracket. The result is a very strong building.

A single gutter connected house. This house is a 24' wide gutter house. The gothic roof shape profile can easily be seem. This house has double poly on roof and both sidewalls and 8 mm polycarbonate on the endwalls.
