Overhead Watering Booms


Our overhead watering booms are manufactured by Andpro Spray Rite Systems. They are four drive models avialable in aisle models, dual rail over head models and mono rail models. Ideal for plugs/treeseedling and nursery operations.

An overhead watering boom provides many advantages over fixed overhead sprays and/or hand watering.

The unit above shows a typical dual rail overhead watering boom. This particular model is a model DCS, which stands for variable speed DC drive and semi-automatic. This particular model is equipped with optional antidripped trihead sprays and adjustable spray boom height.

This particular model is equipped with single antidripped sprays plus double spray tips at edges and adjustable spray boom height. Also shown in this above photo shows Andpro's hose handling system. With this hose handling system we can easily operate in greenhouses 400 feet long. Also notice the rail size. Study 1 1/2" X 2 1/2" galv. rails are used. Rails can even be used for your overhead plant material carts.

Andpro's exclusive patented hose handling system. It allows for center feed water and power connections. Which reduces you installation expenses, and because the hose and power line lengths are reduced both pressure and power line loss is reduced. Also, notice the suspension brackets. All factory assembled, galvanized and secured to arches with 2 U bolts and clamp.
