The photo on the left is one our 40 foot freestanding houses. Series FS with reinforced arches placed at 4 feet on center. This house was constructed by the owner and is used for cut flower production. This structure is 144 feet long and includes our double poly roof vent system and a roll-up sidewall. If you look closely at the photo notice all those lights, theres a few pounds hanging there and right from the structure ( got to love what reinforced arches provide ). If that doesn't impress you well at the other end of the greenhouse hanges two 350 lb unit heaters ..... simply from one arch set. We know what you are saying ...... so what .... now lets add some snow ( maybe at lot ) and mix in some wind ..... well .... it been there its done that and has now provided 6 years of service in Alberta.

 

The above are photos of a projects that we build in Northern Alberta back in 1994. They show the evolution of our reinforced systems. Back then as general practice used a reinforced arch set every third arch. Once growers started discovering our strength, wind resistance, requiring addtional overhead loads we introduced our series FS commercial line in 1996. The FS series has remained unchanged to date and uses reinforced arch sets through out.

The above photos are compliments of Bradbury Stram. we supplied this project for their Dulce New Mexico Project. This a one of our 40 foot wide freestanding units with our hard clad 8 mm twinwall polycarbonate package. If you look closely at the photos notice how short the people and equipment are. Thats because the structure was supplied with our optional 10 foot high sidewalls.
